Gracie dressed up over......
and over........
and over again! ( I think the slippers are a nice touch here)
she drank milkshakes,
and baked,
and baked,
and baked!
She had her first limo ride (a pink limo to a princess castle for an all girls birthday party!)
and had a date with her daddy (dinner and the movie HOP!)
Annie wore the cutest spring dress (but with boots because it's still so stinkin' cold)
Slept A LOT! Annie is now sleeping about 8 hours a night almost every night! Mom and Dad are THRILLED And have caught up on their own sleep and are wondering now what hobbies they should take up in their spare time :)She got a CUTE haircut for spring!
Miss Extraordinary (the t-shirt never lies) has gotten back on the Lokomat and has been working her tail off at trying to walk unassisted!
She's working so hard that this past week she fell asleep right as they were bringing her off the treadmill!
Jamesy, oh man, is this kid busy! I'm sorry to say that my little man has been a bit overbooked this year, busy almost every night of the week, (we'll know better for next year :) ) and is so much looking forward to summer! Most of his extracurriculars are coming to an end, here he is at Scouts getting his Tiger Cub badge James LOVES to read! He finished the Magic School Bus chapter series and is now on to the Narnia series. He is LOVING this and is even able to bring his books into school and read them during readers workshop! I'm so blessed!
Jamesy also got a date night with mommy! Dinner and a movie - RIO!
As a family we have been planting trees, trees, and more trees (20 to be exact) to bring our little slice of suburban land a little bit of privacy.
We've roasted marshmallows on the patio - yes the girls are in winter coats - stupid weather!!!
Gracie and Annie have enjoyed some "sister time" on the swings!
And the kids got Guinea Pigs! One is a girl named "Guiney" and the other is a boy named "Bugsy". Here is James trying to teach Bugsy how to follow arrows. James is determined to make his rodent some sort of spy, Gracie and I can't stop washing our hands and Annie just thinks the whole Guinea Pig situation is hillarious!
We had a few sleep overs in mommy and daddys room.
Went to the park in downtown on a sunny yet very cool day.
And enjoyed our 1 HOT (like 60 Plus!) day on the patio (can you tell I'm bitter about the weather?)
The kids have been playing "cash cab" in the wagon!!! "James pulls Gracie and then "pop quizes" her! Oh man is that fun to listen to.
We are very much looking forward to more warm, sunny days! But honestly couldn't be more blessed with this beautiful life we've been chosen for!
Please check out Annie's First Giving Page on the side of this blog! Despite the looks of it now we do have quite a bit going on in the community and are praying that will transpire into glorious funding and support. We have Garden's of Hope growing all over town and will update the blog with pictures soon. Please join us as we fight for our daughters cure! Click the link in the upper right hand corner to support Rett Research!
I loved all of it, but feel most excited that you are all getting sleep. It makes such a huge difference. Praying it continues!!!!!!
